first hill line

Seattle is building a modern streetcar system that will provide new urban mobility options, support economic growth, and strengthen connections between the places where people work, live, and socialize.

In addition to connecting to Link Light Rail at Capitol Hill Station and International District Station, as well as Sounder Commuter Rail and Amtrak intercity rail at King Street Station, the First Hill Streetcar will play a key role in the regional transit system.

First Hill Streetcar line stops at 10 locations, connecting Capitol Hill, First Hill, Yesler Terrace, Central Area, Chinatown/International District and Pioneer Square neighborhoods, as well as major medical centers, universities, colleges, and major sporting events venues (CenturyLink Field and Safeco Field).

For more information on how the First Hill Streetcar will be connected to other segments of the Seattle Streetcar network, see the Broadway Extension and Center City Connector pages.
