Seattle Streetcar is building a modern streetcar system that will create new urban transportation opportunities, improve economic and social development, and connect people wherever they live, work, or socialize.
Whether you’re heading to the fast-growing South Lake Union neighborhood or downtown Seattle’s vibrant business district, the Streetcar will get you where you need to go.
Seattle Streetcar’s South Lake Union line conveniently connects to other public transportation systems in the city.
You can transfer to buses at several points along the route. Bus service makes convenient, useful connections at selected streetcar stops including Route 8 (Seattle Center, Capitol Hill, Central District).
There are also some other opportunities to connect to the local bike network along the line, such as the Pronto Cycle Share stations.
