Supercell have cemented themselves as one of the powerhouses in the mobile gaming world. Their catalog of games have become instantly recognizable due to their unique art style and engaging gameplay. Never having to resort to fake adverts or cheap marketing ploys, Supercell continues to lead the way in what mobile games should be.
Currently there are six amazing titles in the Supercell catalog. And we are sure they will be releasing more in the future. But are all these games created equally? Today we are providing you with the definitive ranking of every Supercell game!
6. Hay Day
If you remember the days of Farmville on Facebook then Hay Day won’t be too unfamiliar to you. One of Supercell’s earliest titles. You have the privilege to own and manage your own farm. Managing everything from the crops to the livestock.
The gameplay is simple enough. If you’ve played any idle game over the last few years then you will be intimately familiar with it. It is a fun little time killer. But, when compared to their other titles, it does fall short. Landing it in last place on the list.
5. Boom Beach
I loved playing Tower Defense games when I was a kid. Bloons Tower Defense. Elemental Tower Defence. Plants Vs Zombies. All classic titles. Boom Beach does fall short of standing amongst the greats of the genre. But it is an enjoyable strategy game in its own right.
You are tasked with defending different locations from invading forces. Using a mixture of defensive towers and troops. You will fight seemingly endless waves of foes. With each wave increasing in strength. This is an ideal choice for anyone looking for a simple grab and go game with minimal time investment.
4. Squad Busters
The latest entry into the Supercell catalog. It is a multiplayer battle / party game that sees players trying to collect more gems than their opponents. Each player assembles a team of heroes and ventures around the map. You need to unlock treasure chests to find gems. While also ensuring the opponents don’t steal your gem stash.
The game features a host of recognizable Supercell characters. As well as plenty of original heroes to choose from. The game, while competitive, isn’t as tough as the other multiplayer Supercell games. Making this an ideal jumping on point for new mobile gamers.
3. Brawl Stars
Brawl stars is one of my favorite Supercell titles. It is a 3v3 arena game that sees you competing to complete a series of different objectives before your opponents. It has the most colorful cast of characters out of any of the Supercell games.
Brawl Stars is much more combat intense than the other titles. Requiring quick reaction times and tactical thinking. The multiplayer scene is hard to get into when you first start out as your character pool is limited. But you can purchase a Brawl Stars account for relatively cheap to help you get a head start on the unlock process.
Brawl Stars is best played on a tablet as opposed to a phone so that you can get a better view of the map you are playing on.
2. Clash Of Clans
This is the game that put Supercell on the map. Clash of Clans is arguably one of the most famous mobile games out there. With many companies constantly trying to rip it off or dethrone it. But none have yet succeeded.
It provides the perfect mix between idle gaming and competitive combat. The game has a clan system that allows players to team up and go to war with rivaling clans. The game has come a long way since it was first launched. Allowing players to create some truly amazing bases and build spectacular armies to defend their land with!
1. Clash Royale
Without a doubt the strongest title in the Supercell catalog. Clash Royale takes all the towers and units from Clash of Clans and puts them into a more real time battle situation. Each match sees you trying to defend your castle while simultaneously trying to destroy the opponents.
Units are spawned using energy which slowly accumulates during the match. You have to find the right balance between when you spawn your units and also where you place them. Once they are on the ground you have no direct control over them. As you level up you will unlock more powerful units and spells. Allowing you to create a more unique deck to take down your opponents with.
